Theoretical knowledge needs to be combined with hands-on learning experience to craft the best possible teachers: Enter New Heights Languages! Instructors: 

• Have Masters degrees in teaching languages from UGA and/or certificates specializing in teaching English

• Have 6+ years experience teaching languages

• Speak other languages themselves (Spanish, French, & Creole)

• Have experience in living/studying abroad in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, France, Haiti, and more!

•  Can relate first-hand to the linguistic and cultural barriers your employees face every day  

New Heights offers many different course levels and formats to accommodate your business needs. These include:

• Onsite, hybrid, or online instruction

• General beginner, basic, & Intermediate class levels

• Spanish for HR managers & supervisors

• Basic writing- For students who can speak fluently, but are unable to write in English

• Advanced business classes focus on building vocabulary & cultural competence, delivering presentations about your company’s products/ services, negotiating skills, informal vs. formal language, and more! 

New Heights ensures your business' and employees' needs are met by providing: 

•  Flexibility: On-site, blended, or online classes

• Availability: 7 days a week to fit your scheduling needs (6 a.m. - 9 p.m)

• Tailored materials: Curriculum adapted to each group’s current linguistic ability to encourage students’ learning potential

• Progress: Meetings with your company to report on students' learning throughout session

•  Assessments: Meet with each employee for individual language evaluation prior to start of class

• Technology: check prior with employees prior to 1st class (for online or blended class options)  

 To accommodate different learning styles and preferences, the instructor uses a variety of teaching methods. Samples of materials used can be shown during a free consultation.  Activities include:

•  TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling)

• Games, music, video clips, role play, presentations, and book/article discussion groups

• Traditional grammar worksheets and practice
